Public hearing in NHA

On March 22, the National Health Agency (NHA) held a public hearing to discuss a contractual relationship between health plan operators and service providers.

The aim of the audience is to bring more visibility to the topic and any interested party can take part in the debate. All suggestions, comments and criticisms are evaluated by NHA to be discussed at the hearing.

About the audience

The meeting held last Friday is part of the contractual technical programming and support service (CATEC).

Regulatory problems were presented in the contracting between the parties and suggestions for the ANS to resolve such conflicts. In addition, the following topics were addressed: remuneration of materials for hospital use, irregular use of adjustment in the contract, reporting of irregularities, analysis and studies on gloss (disputed charge) and non-payment by the operators.

According to the agency, the focus of the debate is to ensure the balance between service providers and health plans for the benefit of the consumers.
