The Brazilian Federation of Breast Health Aid's Philanthropic Institutions (FEMAMA in Portuguese) is a non-profit institution in which its main objective is reducing the breast-cancer-related deaths in the country.

FEMAMA works focused on spreading information and guaranteeing accessible and quality mammographies for women. By doing that, the institution helps to reduce the time between the diagnoses and the beginning of the treatment, increasing the chances of cure.

 

2. Rede Feminina de Combate ao Câncer

The Rede Feminina de Combate ao Câncer (Women's Network of Cancer Combat) is a non-profit institution which gives assistance for women on poor situations who are victimized by cancer. They raise resources to help them in the recovering phase.

The Brazilian Association of Lymphoma and Leukemia has the goal to democratize the treatment of the disease and improve the quality of life of hematological patients.

They offer assistance for the patients by making available specialized professionals, answer questions about the treatment and disease, and facilitate the access to legal, psychological and nutritional support.

 

5. Fundação Laço Rosa

Funded by Aline Lopes and her sisters, the Laço Rosa Foundation has the mission to help women with breast cancer. It has various projects which impact not only the lives of the patients but also who goes along in the patients' journey.

It has a wig-base, that makes wigs available for any cancer patient. You just need to make the request online, choose the one you like the best and fill in the form with personal data. However, it is needed to scan the medical report and send it as an attachment.
